Maximize Your Workspace

Dear Fellow Cadders,

Hope all is well at your end and you are all having fun doing good work!

All well on my side, expect my broadband had been down for few days.

OK Let's get to the topic,

Have you ever noticed that with the newer versions of AutoCAD we are getting less space for working. Most of the screen is covered with Ribbons, Paletts and Icons.
Don't you feel the more workspace would be better. So what to do about it?

Change your monitor!

Just Kidding!!!!

Well, You can maximize your workspace without buying a new monitor.

How?

Use "toolpalettesclose" and all your tool palettes will disappear from the scene. Whenever you need them, ask AutoCAD for "toolpalettes" and and your tool pallets will be back. This opyion is good for people who don't use palettes but need ribbon.
Shortcut for this is "Ctrl+3"

Use "ribbonclose" and ribbons will be gone anytime you wish revoke them by summoning AutoCAD by command "ribbon".

Use "cleanscreenon" and everything except your statusbar, menubar and command line will disappear. This is the best option for the minimalists (like me) who like to work with keyboard almost always. Use "cleanscreenoff" if you need everything back.
Shortcut for this is "Ctrl+0"

There is one thing you guys must have noticed, the commands are longer and people lazy like me don't like this so refer to my earlier post "Shorten the Command"  and learn how to shorten the commands.

That's all for today friends!

Do try these options and tell me which one you like and why.

Enjoy!!!!
